Events

Grant access to the product on transaction.paid, never on transaction.created. A created transaction has not been paid yet.

Events marked Legacy also exist in the previous platform’s format, under the name in that column.

Catalog

Transaction

Event When Legacy
transaction.created A charge was created, in any method. It has not been paid yet. TRANSACTION_CREATED
transaction.paid The payment was really confirmed. This is where you grant access. TRANSACTION_PAID
transaction.canceled The charge ended without payment: it expired, or the buyer gave it up. TRANSACTION_CANCELED
transaction.refunded The full amount went back to the buyer. TRANSACTION_REFUNDED
transaction.partially_refunded Part of the amount went back to the buyer; the sale still stands. —
transaction.charged_back The buyer’s bank forcibly reversed the sale. TRANSACTION_CHARGED_BACK

Payment

payment.pix.created The QR code and the copy-and-paste code were issued. —
payment.pix.confirmed The bank confirmed the PIX. —
payment.pix.expired The PIX window closed without payment. —
payment.boleto.generated The boleto line and PDF were issued. —

Subscription

subscription.suspended Charging failed enough to suspend access. —
subscription.payment_failed A recurring charge did not go through. Dunning starts here. —

Withdrawal

transfer.created The producer requested a withdrawal; the amount left the available balance. TRANSFER_CREATED
transfer.completed The money reached the producer’s account. TRANSFER_COMPLETED
transfer.failed The transfer did not go out; the amount returns to the available balance. TRANSFER_FAILED

Checkout

  • payment.card.authorized — The issuer authorized, before capture. Card charges authorize and capture in a single step. Use payment.card.captured.
  • subscription.expired — The subscription reached its end and does not renew. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Use subscription.canceled and subscription.suspended.
  • checkout.session.created — Someone opened your checkout.
  • checkout.session.updated — The buyer filled in a field or switched payment method.
  • checkout.session.completed — The buyer finished the checkout.
